Another "great lengths' special section in The New York Times





New York’s Skyline Is Still for Everyone Even if its new skyscrapers aren’t. The Real Estate desk sought out to annotate the view.  (The New York Times, 6/10/2019)
“ It just struck me,” Mr. McFarlin [art director for the Times Real Estate section] said. “Particularly on the West Side, the skyline has dramatically changed.” 
Initially, he considered a cover story, but decided that the horizontal nature of the “pano-8,” a 48-inch-wide folded pullout, would most naturally serve the skyline. “Touching the Sky,” a special section, ran in Sunday’s paper.
